Man I wish the day was at least 30 hours, then I would have some time off school to play some games and get some time off. After being at school from 8am to 12 am and then staying till 11 pm doing homework yesterday and totally frying my brain doing math homework and only finishing about half of it I really need some time off. But no such luck since I’m actually behind on some subjects even with staying at school for at least 11 hours each day and longer on others. This kind of workload is really taking it’s toll with all the work I’m putting out and I’m thinking about quitting BT and only working at Apple so that I have enough free time but I’m just not sure I’ll get enough work time and there forth enough money coming in January. But with all of that school work I thankfully have a bit of a chance to escape reality during the weekends so I’ve gone drinking each weekend since the beginning of August and this weekend is no exception this time we’re going on a “science trip” to Marel and then on the University of Iceland’s Octoberfest to get really really drunk.
I did take a bit of time off today to look into some of the stuff being shown on the X05 show in Amsterdam this week and boy is there going to be some good stuff coming out on the X-Box 360. I’m of course looking most forward to Eldar Scroll IV: Oblivion and after seeing the gameplay trailer, I’m looking forward to it even more (I think I actually drooled a bit after seeing the real time rendering of the forrest in action). Another game I’m really looking forward to trying on the X-Box 360 is a game that was just announced at X05 from BioWare called Mass Effect and is a futuristic RPG taking place in the 23rd century and it looks awesome.
Seeing the announcement for Mass Effect reminded my that I have a bunch of games for X-box that I have left to play (and PS2 also for that matter) among those being Jade Empire which I’ll most likely play during Christmas break since it’s been said to be only about ten hours long. I also plan on playing Broken Sword 3 since I’ve recently played the other two.
My PS2 has also been collecting dust and I’ve only gotten maybe and hour worth of play time in the last month and that was only to play demos and try out some of the newer games for a couple of minutes. The once I really really want to play are Indigo Prophecy, which is the most original (and one of the few) adventure games of the decade. I also plan on playing X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse with Óli since we finished the first one in co-op and this one is said to be better. I also look forward to finishing Star Ocean III and getting started on Radiata Stories from Tri-Star to satisfy my RPG craving. I also noticed that SSX on Tour is coming out early or in 9 days and after skipping SSX3 I really want to play this one.
So all in all I have way to many games to play and no time to play them, maybe I will have some time during christmas break unless it all goes into working and goofing off.
