Holy crap I never thought that kreatine stuff that all those trying to build some muscles take all the time. But I finally broke down and bought some to give it a try so last week I went ahead and started taking the stuff. The first five days are the so called loading period where you take four servings of the stuff each day. I was kind of worried at first since I didn’t gain any weight and definitely didn’t notice any muscle development. I was also taking some glutomine at the same time to prevent muscle breakdown when I was running and stuff. Okay so the first week didn’t do anything for me but then I went to the gym yesterday and took some kreatine before going and when lifting the weights I actually felt my muscles “grow” (get strained to a point where they’ll be ready to grow while I sleep :p). After the workout I also checked out my weight and I had put on close to 4 kilos! That’s insane, although I doubt it can all be accredited to the kreatine at least half of it is. The rest most likely comes from the pizza and beer I had on Saturday (drinking your weight in alcohol is quite a lot) and then having a heap of lasagna on Sunday and again on Monday.
I hope this helps out and I’ll be able to increase my muscle mass instead of just burning everything away right after gaining it like I usually do.
