Alone in Iceland
Posted on Feb 11, 2006 in BlogToday I had to go to work and open up the store because me and Andri were the only ones that were left in the country because all the staff left for Denmark to drink a lot :P Well me and Andri held the fort and the day went well, thankfully there wasn’t as many people that stopped by compared to normal Saturdays. Yesterday I had a small get-together for some people in my financial engineering class. There were eight of us here and we sat around, talked and stuffed out faces and drank a bit. We went downtown around 1 am and while going downtown we stopped at a red light and everyone had a shot of tequila, even the driver :P (The woman in the car next to us was watching and her look was apparently hilarious). When downtown we went all over and weren’t really sure as to what to do but got ourselves drinks at each place. Some of us got a little bit too drunk but that’s to be expected. When I was heading home I met up with Tandri who works in Apple too and he had been working through the day so he was taking the morning flight 3 hours later to Denmark. Me and Tandri had a beer and chatted a bit and then I headed home and he went home to finish packing and then head to the airport.
