Broken Sword II – The Smoking Mirror

After playing Broken Sword I last week, I decided to go ahead and play Broken Sword II since I already have Broken Sword III sitting in my X-Box I might as well go through the whole series if I have a chance. To begin with number 2 seems to be quite shorter than number 1 but still seems to shape up to a similar amount of play time, it is also seems to be quite easier but there were some spots that were really really tricky. This game continues a few months after the events of the first game and George and Nico are now an item and start off on another adventure together. This time they must prevent the resurrection of the Aztec god of night and all material things. As in the first game they zoom around the world quite a bit and locate precious stones that enable them to stop the evil god from being resurrected. All in all a really good game, but not quite as much fun as the first one.
Rating: 4/5

The sequel to Shadow of the Templars is a point-and-click adventure, where you assume the roles of George, an American tourist, and his French girlfriend Nico. Traveling to Paris, Marseille, London, and Latin America, you must unravel the mystery behind the Smoking Mirror – the cruel Indian god Tezcatlipoca.
