Yesterday I invited Sara out to dinner at the Hereford steakhouse. I was hoping for a nice romantic dinner for the two of us but it seemed luck wasn’t on our side. When we got there at the time I had ordered our table for it wasn’t ready and we had to wait for 45 minutes for our table to be ready. If that wasn’t enough when we got to our table the waiter didn’t show up for a few minutes and the chairs were these weird clapper chairs which really weren’t comfortable. After having both ordered pepper steaks we had to wait for a whole hour for our food to arrive but boy was it delicious, one of the best steaks I’ve had. After dinner we sat around and chatted. We decided to order some cake for desert but when it hadn’t arrived after an hour we just said forget about it, paid and left. All in all I have to say that Hereford has some really delicious food but their service sucks big time.

From Hereford we headed downtown for a few drinks but didn’t stay to long being that it’s new years eve tonight and poor Sara didn’t want to have an hangover (I fortunately don’t get hung over, thank god).

So tonight we’re are going to say goodbye to the old year and blow it away like true Icelanders.
