Mumford is one of my favorite films since it’s really different and doesn’t really follow what would be called a regular hollywood formula so of course I forced Sara to watch it with me. The plot of the movie is very solid and thought out and all the characters feel very real and interesting. Loren Dean displays some awesome acting in his role as Dr. Mumford and really seems like a nice guy. It was also a nice surprise to see Jason Lee there since I’ve always enjoyed him in Kevin Smith’s movies. Anyway this is a must see film.

A man gives up his job with the IRS and relocates to a small town named Mumford of which he takes the name and passes it off as his own by being a psychologist. While as a psychologist, Mumford decides to give his patients no holds barred advice which changes his life and that of his patients and the residents.
