Sleeper Cell

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to catch the TV series Sleeper Cell on Showtime. It was kind of hectic how they aired the show the aired episodes 1 through 4 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday one week and episodes 5 through 8 airing on the same days the following week with the double length final episode airing on the following Sunday so you had to give yourself enough time to catch all the episodes but then again you didn’t have to wait weeks for the next one which was great. Well onto the show itself. Sleeper Cell tells the tale of Michael and African-American Muslim who is an FBI agent that goes undercover to infiltrate an Islamic sleeper cell in the United States. He manages to infiltrate the cell and becomes a part of their operation while feeding info the FBI about their activities in hopes of preventing another 9/11 type attack that may be in the plans by the cells leader. This series is seriously intense and you are sucked into the action. This is the sort of show most people feel 24 is, I’ve never been to interested in 24 however because it was a bit too unbelievable but I love Sleeper Cell.
Rating: 4/5
