Yesterday me and Sara watched the new remake of The Dukes Of Hazzard franchise. I wasn’t expecting much but it turned out to be a fairly enjoyable film although the plot was shallow and almost non existent. Most of the acting was kind of tacky but the one person that surprised me was Jessica Simpson which I hate religiously, but she wasn’t as bad as I expected, most likely because she was playing someone who was suppose to be not up to par intellectually. Another aspect that I thought was funny was the fact that Willy Nelson was showing off some of the worst jokes in human history but it turned out to almost be funny. This movie is quite a good way to spend once time but only a one time watch.

Cousins Bo (Seann William Scott) and Luke (Johnny Knoxville) Duke, with the assistance of their sexy cousin Daisy (Jessica Simpson) and Uncle Jesse (Willie Nelson), must save the Duke family farm from destruction by the town’s corrupt and evil commissioner Boss Hogg (Burt Reynolds). Their efforts constantly find the “Duke Boys” eluding authorities in “The General Lee”, the boys’ orange 1969 Dodge Charger that keeps them one step ahead of the dimwitted antics of the small southern town’s Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane (M.C. Gainey).
