The International
Posted on Mar 4, 2009 in MoviesLast weekend I went to see Clive Owen’s new movie The International. The movie tells the story of a former detective from Scotland Yard who is now working for Interpol. He is investigating a corrupt bank that has become the bank of choice for illegal activity in the international markets with the bank having everyone in their pockets and believing themselves invincible. The movie goes on and on about the detectives quest to get a credible witness and evidence against the bank with little luck.
The movie is pretty generic and really just okay not much more than that. It does have a pretty bad ass gun fighting scene in the Guggenheim for action fans but otherwise the plot moves rather slowly and most plot twists are way too predictable. The biggest disappointment about the movie is that it doesn’t have an ending and just leaves you hanging which was utterly annoying.
As a final note I recommend you don’t see this movie in the cinema, that would be a waste of money.
