I just read HP Lovecraft’s The Call of Cthulhu after hearing about it from a friend and it turned out to be a really quick read only took about an hour, which isn’t strange since it’s a short story. The book is about a mans investigation into the occult after finding a box of studies into a nightmarish creature. The man discovers that the creature is an old monster that roamed the earth millennia past and has various cults that worship and hope to resurrect it and let it bring chaos to the world of men. The book acts as an introduction to the whole mythos that is Cthulhu and I look forward to getting the game that should be coming out soonish.
