Fahrenheit
Posted on Nov 17, 2005 in GamesYesterday I finally managed to finish the thriller game Fahrenheit. The game is a beautifully made adventure game which thrusts you into the middle of an epic story-line starring you as the ritualistic murderer and the cops trying to catch yourself. It’s a rather strange concept when you first hear it but it turns out to work out really well. You play different characters to experience the various sides of the storyline. The game has a rather original control concept where you use two analog sticks to control your characters and then in various scenes you will have to use them along with the L+R buttons to perform DDR style actions to act out action scenes. The games storyline is very solid early on and gets really promising towards the middle part but the ending will make just about anyone mad or insane and the useless Matrix style rip off scenes are utterly useless. I had some fun playing this game but it was also a major problem since my PS2 version was scratched so that one time when it was auto saving the game froze and the save got corrupted so either I had to restart the game or forget about it but thankfully I manged to find a complete save for X-Box from gamefaqs.com and borrow the X-Box version of the game and start of from where I had ended on the PS2 so I managed to finally finish the game.
Rating: 4/5

Indigo Prophecy, a spectacular psycho thriller, set in New-York, gives gamers the unique chance to play both hunter and hunted, which in turn leads them to speak, explore, interact, fight and confront unknown dark forces. For no apparent reason, ordinary people are randomly killing total strangers. Although there is no link between the murderers, they all seem to follow exactly the same ritual and pattern. Lucas Kane becomes one of these murderers when he kills a stranger in the men’s room of a restaurant. Finding himself in control of Lucas, the player is haunted by strange visions and the desperate need to find out what is happening to him. At the same time he must keep one step ahead of the police, especially Inspector Carla Valenti and her teammate agent Tyler Miles.
