I tried out a few more games over the last weeks:
Aeon Flux is a game for the new movie coming out (which is based on the MTV animation which is based on the comic book). The game throws you right into the action with no back story at all so you have no chance of knowing what’s going on without seeing the movie. The gameplay is pretty cool and varied but feels repetitive after a while. I don’t plan on playing this game it would definitely be waste of my time, but at least now I have to see the film to get the story.

Gun is a new third person action adventure game about a gun man in the wild west. The story starts off hunting with your dad. The two off you shoot some game for a steam boat and then get on it to sell the food. On the steam boat they are attacked by a priest and some crazy guys. The fight results in the boat exploding but you manage to get away and start looking for those responsible for the attack. The game is really fun it’s an action packed rump where you are able to do everything a normal cowboy would do.

I just played through the Final Fantasy XII Demo came with Dragon Quest 8. It’s a really short demo where you can play two missions from the game to try out the battle system and stuff. The game seems really cool and I look forward to playing it once it finally comes out next year. For this Final Fantasy they have chosen to go for Vagrant Story style battle system that works out great.
