Burn After Reading is the Coen Brothers’ latest movie and really surprised me when I saw it on DVD the other day. The movie stars John Malkovich, Frances McDormand, George Clooney, Brad Pitt and other great actors and tells the story of a CIA analyst who quits his job after a demotion. The agent starts writing a autobiography of his time in the CIA and a CD of his draft somehow falls into the hands of a few gym employees who think they’ve struck gold. This evolves into a hilarious and ridiculous plot which results in the viewer doing a fair amount of facepalms.

This movie is brilliant, it’s got really dark humor which I like. All the actors perform superbly and the dialog that they enact is excellent. This is a must see movie, go buy or rent the DVD or download it today.
