Kicking And Screaming

I went to an advance screening of this movie after work today. I really thought I was going to see a funny Will Ferrell movie but it turns out it was just another “kids playing soccer” movie. The movie did have a few good moments with Ferrell going insane and some of the scenes with Mike Ditka fighting with Robert Duvall. All in all it’s just one of those movies with the pissant son and his relationship with his non-supportive father. Will Ferrell did a okay job and his scenes where he learns to drink coffee were hilarious but I was expecting more. Robert Duvall and Mike Ditka were in my opinion the actors that held this movie afloat if that can be said. The other actors were just mediocre. To sum up I don’t recommend watching this movie if your older than 12 years old or a big fan of anything with Will Ferrell.
