Lord of War

The last film I watched at Christmas day was Lord of War with Nicholas Cage. The film follows Cage in a role as Yuri who journeys to become the worlds forth most gun runner. The story starts off when Yuri begins with selling a few automatics and getitng into the game slowly. He then moves to bigger things and by the time the Cold War ends he gets a load of weapons from the former Soviet Union and scores big time. He then goes on to get everything he ever wanted, he gets the girl of his dreams and they have a child. Once he is the biggest gun runner he however does go on to make mistakes and his wife finds out what he does and leaves him. But he pushes on. The film gives a pretty good view at the world of gun running and the acting is top bar. I really enjoyed the film.
