B-Movie day continues with my sanity slowly slipping away to nothingness. This time it’s a movie based on a comic book character named Painkiller Jane. The movie stars the extremely beautiful Emmanuelle Vaugier as Major Jane who gets infected by radiation while on a mission which turns her into some kind of super human. She is now able to heal almost instantaneously, run faster, and she’s stronger. The military plan to turn her into an lab rat and replicate her powers but she manages to escape and goes underground and tries to discover the truth about what happened to her. She manages to discover the truth and get away safely making the everyone think she is dead but it seems that is only the start of her troubles. Surprisingly this movie is actually mediocre. Despite being a low budget B-Movie it really pulls off being a decent action flick and actually feels like it might be a good pilot for an on going series.
