Star Wars – Episode III

I just saw Episode III: Revenge of the Sith today and it was really really nice. After the last two episodes being only mediocre and partially ruined by annoying little thinks, such as Jar Jar and moochy love stuff. This film went all out in special effects and story telling and tying up every thing in a nice little package. Everyone knows about the basics that set up episode IV a new hope but that movie is the knot that ties the whole six movie saga together and it’s just a real treat too see. The actors all did a good job even though it was highly mixed just how good. Ian McDiarmid did a lovely job as Palpatine and portrait a meaningful and awesome looking villain. Ewan McGregor did a really good job as Obi-Wan and played the part well as both mentor and army’s authority figure. Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman as Anakin and Padm did their job really well but some of the scenes between them were a bit overacted in the love-scenes. All in all I’m just really looking forward to getting it on DVD.
Rating: 4/5
Three years after the Battle of Geonosis, the Clone Wars are coming to a close. Obi-Wan Kenobi, now a general, is sent by the Republic to bring down remaining Separatists Count Dooku and General Grievous. And Chancellor Palpatine has become corrupt, proclaiming himself Emperor, and, with Anakin Skywalker’s help, begins to turn the Republic into the Galactic Empire. As Anakin ultimately becomes the evil we know as Darth Vader, Padme goes into hiding, and, at the end of one war, another conflict we know all too well is about to begin.
